What is a Clapper-style platform?

A Clapper-style app is a short video network where people come for the conversation as much as the clip. Replies, mentions, and pinned comments shape which posts people return to.

That focus changes the moderation workload. A comment-led community needs tools to stop abuse at the moment of posting and a clear way for moderators to work reports on posts, accounts, and comments separately.

Comment and moderation features in scope

Planned scope for the standard build. Every item is reviewed in scoping and can be adjusted, dropped, or extended.

Threaded replies, likes, and mentions

Viewers reply to comments, like them, and mention other profiles, who are notified.

Owner pinning with a limit

Post owners pin the comments that frame the discussion, up to a configured ceiling.

Banned-word filter at submit

Comments containing listed words are refused when posted, not cleaned up later.

Daily comment caps

Server-side limits slow down spam accounts without blocking normal users.

Three report queues

Reports on posts, accounts, and comments arrive in separate admin queues.

Moderator role

Moderators can review reports and freeze accounts without full admin access.

Coins, gifts, and creator subscriptions

Monetization runs alongside the conversation features.
